Digital Menu / Restaurant Web Experience
Menu Chez Bassou
A responsive digital menu experience, designed for direct, phone-first browsing.
Web / Digital Menu / Responsive / GitHub Pages
The need
A restaurant menu needs to work as a fast, mobile-first experience: something a visitor can open directly — for instance from a QR code on the table — and use immediately, with a simple way to browse dishes by category as the menu grows (breakfast, salads, grillades, pizzas and more).
The solution
A single static page, hosted on GitHub Pages, built with plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript — no framework, no build step.
A sticky filter bar jumps straight to a category (breakfast, salads, grillades, pizzas, burgers, paninis, tajines, drinks), and a live search box narrows the list by dish name as the visitor types.
A floating WhatsApp button lets a visitor open a pre-filled WhatsApp conversation from the menu, with no separate contact system.
- Category filters and live search across all dishes
- Dedicated weight-based pricing table for grillades
- One-tap call and WhatsApp contact buttons
- Fully responsive layout (desktop, tablet, mobile)
- Zero-dependency static build, deployed on GitHub Pages
